This Morris Island lighthouse spiral notebook is printed with artwork titled the Old Sentinel. It references the fact that this lighthouse near the harbor at Charleston is no longer in service. In fact in the artwork you can tell it's in ruins but it still has a sense of being a guardian to me. The 1876 lighthouse was deactivated in the 1960's.
